About Bright Beginnings
At Bright Beginnings Therapy Co, we are dedicated to helping children build meaningful communication skills that empower them to connect, engage, and thrive in their daily lives.
Speech pathologists specialise in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and feeding difficulties. For children, this means supporting areas such as speech clarity, understanding and using language, social communication, literacy development, and using alternative communication methods like AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) when needed.
Our focus is on creating therapy sessions that are engaging, fun, and tailored to each child’s unique needs. We believe that communication is at the heart of connection, and we work closely with families to help children develop the skills they need to express themselves confidently and meaningfully.

Our Approach
Through evidence-based intervention and innovative approaches, our therapy sessions aim to:
- Support clear and confident speech.
- Develop language skills for understanding and expressing thoughts, needs, feelings and ideas.
- Strengthen social communication for meaningful interactions with peers and family.
- Enhance literacy skills, including reading and writing.
- Introduce and support AAC systems to enhance communication across environments.
By fostering a collaborative relationship with parents, caregivers, and educators, we ensure that therapy progress extends beyond the clinic and into the child’s everyday world. Our ultimate goal is to help every child find their voice and engage in meaningful, connected communication wherever they go.
Meet Stacey
Stacey has undertaken extensive additional training, including PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets), Sounds-Write (a structured synthetic phonics program), AAC assessment and prescription and Colourful Semantics, further enriching her therapeutic approach. Her commitment to ongoing learning ensures that her practice incorporates the latest, evidence-based strategies.
In addition to her clinical work, Stacey is a clinical educator at Edith Cowan University, where she mentors and supports the next generation of speech pathologists.
As a mum of two young girls, Stacey’s personal experiences have further deepened her understanding of meaningful engagement with children and her passion for supporting parents in their child’s therapy journey. She strives to create a collaborative and empowering environment for families, with the aim to support children to achieve their individual goals.
When she’s not at work, Stacey enjoys going for coast walks, getting out and about with her husband and daughters, and enjoying a good coffee.
